Zenon Software

Zenon is a platform-independent and open system for process visualization as well as a human machine interface (HMI) system or process control (SCADA) software of the independent automation software provider COPA-DATA. Zenon runs on Windows operating systems between Windows CE to Windows 7. It is named after the philosopher Zeno of Elea.

Characteristics
Zenon has set several new standards for HMI/SCADA software such as circular redundancy. Circular Redundancy requires in addition to each project server one standby server. The neighboring simultaneously serves a standby server and vice versa.
